Olympic Games Photographer — Vlad Semyonov
I’ve had the opportunity to photograph the Olympic Games — an experience shared by only a handful of photographers in Kazakhstan. It means working under extreme time pressure, tight accreditation restrictions, and alongside a huge number of professional photojournalists from around the world, where you have to capture the decisive moment on the very first try.
Photographing major sporting events takes more than technical skill — it requires an understanding of the sport itself: knowing where the climax will happen and how to frame the shot so it captures both emotion and outcome. I bring that same experience to editorial and sports photography in Almaty, Astana, and across Kazakhstan — at championships, competitions, and corporate sporting events.
Below is a selection of images from the Olympic Games, from my personal archive.
