Photographing concerts and festivals is one of the most dynamic and demanding forms of editorial photography: low light, constant movement from both performers and the crowd, and the need to react instantly and anticipate the shot. I shoot music events, festivals, and concerts in Almaty and across Kazakhstan, capturing the energy of the stage and the atmosphere of the crowd.

Working these events requires more than the right gear (fast lenses, correct settings for difficult lighting) — it requires experience: understanding the arc of a performance to catch the key moments, a solo, a performer’s emotion, the crowd’s reaction.
